Most of you know me as Smitty! I am truely sorry to hear about the roof damage and the brewery being shut down till it repaired. I away have reserved Rahr beers in my garage refringerator. I ready enjoy the Winter Warmer and Bucking Bock my two favorites. I hope everything at the brewery can get up to speed in the near future. I beleive we will get the last winter snow Tuesday and warm weather is ahead of us Northern Texans. My locate bar Cowtown Sports Bar & Grill has the Rahr Blond, Red & Uggy Peg for $3 a bottle.
Suggestion: You may want to create beer called Frosty or Roof Top to celebrate the end of winter 2010.
I will enjoy coming to the brewery tours again. Gods speed.

Rahr beer is my favorite "baseball" beer. I have a tradition of taking opening day off from work and staying home for the first Rangers game with a Rahr beer and a pizza - this is my favorite among a several really good options from Rahr.

Oh sweet day in May!! This is one AWESOME bock! An awesome session brew to be enjoyed over and over and over!! This brew pours up a rich almost caramel-y body and sports an amazing frothy head. The scents are absolutely intoxicating! Sweet toasted malts mixed in with some caramel and subtle hints of baked apples. The flavors in this brew are stunning to say the least! Loads of malts and an exceptionally balanced sweet/bitter bite with a solid finish that entices you to your next savoring. Again this is an exceptional brew to be enjoyed with some fish/seafood meals or all by itself! Excellent work Fritz!

Bought at the Spec's store on Fry Road and drunk at home on Saturday afternoon with a chicken and cheese sandwich and Texas style chips while folding the laundry (that's multitasking for you. Quite pleasant, the hops come through, as does the strength of the beer - a little daunting for an early saturday afternoon beer, though it is smooth and easy to drink.

Wolfgang has been going south to Rockport to look for property to live at after retiring from building JSF fighters.
Last summer then down there. I asked the HEB manager of store if he could please get Rahr beer in his store.

Late week then I was down there to my surprize they had the Blond, Pug, & seasonal Bucking Bock.
Where every I go I must have Rahr Beer on supply. That is because Wolfgang as a lot of German blood. Germans need beer in them Like ac car need fuel.
I toast "Cheers" to Rahr for the great beer.

Met some friends for a concert in Wichita, Kansas. Took two six-packs of Bucking Bock. They raved about how good it was...and kept the bottles!
